How did we come to carry this fragrance? The old-fashioned way -- I was shopping in a local store and the woman browsing next to me smelled so unbelievably good that I had to break my own rule and ask her what perfume she was wearing (at the risk of seeming super creepy and stalker-y). But the fragrance that followed this woman around the shop was so beguiling and unique that I simply had to inquire -- and upon hearing that her delightful signature scent was Kenneth Cole Black, I put in a request for a duplication of it the minute I got back to my keyboard. Needless to say -- this being Sweet Cakes -- our version of this fragrance is spot-on. Imagine, if you will, an intoxicating fusion of black violet and white hyacinth supported by notes of cool citrus, tuberose, magnolia, and lotus flower, with white musk, sandalwood, and sweet amber in the drydown. BOTTOM LINE: A modern, assertive floral blend with softened and sweetened with an intense white musk backdrop -- completely unlike any other fine fragrance on the market. Note: While this version is not compatible with CP soap or candles, it'd be heavenly in M&P soap, shampoo, shower gel, and personal perfumes.
