Our re-creation of one of the softest, subtlest, most popular fragrances from the Victoria's Secret "Secret Garden" collection.
This delightful fruity-floral starts with top notes of citrus and jasmine, leading to a fresh, inviting midsection of rose, tangerine, and a veritable bouquet of sheer florals. Musk and amber make for a sweet, warm finish.
This blend is for those who like their florals on the clean, fresh side of flirtatious (fans of "Clean" and Philosophy's "Amazing Grace" will fall in love with it). If you're worried that this scent may be too overtly sexy because it's a duplication of a Victoria's Secret blend, let me assure you that this fragrance is on the shy and demure side, and nothing about it will hit people over the head like, say, a lead camisole.
Flashpoint: > 200º F
A fresh, green herbal-floral blend with a Southwestern twist. Top notes of dewberry, grass, and green leaves lead to a floral middle of gardenia, jasmine, and cactus lily. Soft, dry bottom notes are provided by rose, ylang, and sandalwood. Flashpoint: >200º F.
At last! A re-creation of this designer floral powerhouse worthy of its name!
Top notes of peach, bluebell, tart green Granny Smith apple, lemon, and jasmine lead to a fresh, fruity-floral heart of bamboo, white rose, guava, and pineapple, atop a sweet, woody base of musk, amber, cedar, and sandalwood. The overall effect is that of a strong, fresh floral that's decidedly upscale and definitely irresistible.
Flashpoint: >200º F.
There's nothing worse than a poor imitation of this designer men's scent, but fear not, for this one is right on the money. Drakkar is composed of lavender, spices, and woods. Top notes of citrus lead to middle notes of herbaceous lavender, coriander, and juniper berries. Sandalwood, patchouli, and fir balsam form the warm, sexy base. Flashpoint: 177º F.
The crisp, green aroma of a freshly sliced cucumber (with just a touch of rain to anchor it). No bells, whistles, or complicated perfumey notes. BOTTOM LINE: Irresistible in its simplicity. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the same fragrance oil as is listed under "C" for Cucumber. Flashpoint: >200º F.
First there was World's Best Magnolia -- and now we're pleased as punch to offer you the finest Egyptian musk this side of Khartoum!
A little backstory: A perfumer we work with recently relocated to the US from France. While still living in Paris, he purchased a small bottle of musk fragrance, which immediately became his wife's signature scent and which people within sniffing range remarked upon endlessly. Now that he's here in the US and unable to purchase more of this incredible musk, he decided to duplicate it. I will readily admit to not being a musk addict myself, but when the sample of this fragrance landed on the warehouse doorstep, I was blown away! It's simply the muskiest, sexiest, most beguiling musk blend I've ever come across (and we're talking thousands of fragrance samples over the past 9+ years)! In fact, I would put this in a league with the best of the Sweet Cakes best -- our copies of Angel and Fracas and Precious Amber, for example.
You must try World's Best Egyptian Musk! Who'll like it? Anyone who likes musky fragrances, sexy fragrances, unique fragrances, or upscale-smelling fragrances. Who won't be impressed by it? Only someone whose nostrils were stitched together in a freak serger accident. And here's one more piece of juicy backstory -- another customer of this particular perfumer has also purchased this Egyptian Musk and is selling it diluted as a perfume with a price tag of $100 per ounce. Diluted, people. Per ounce. Or, as expressed in the title of a song by West Coast rap-music impresario Ice Cube, "$100 Dollar Bill, Yo."
Note to CP soapers: I've personally tested this fragrance well and thoroughly in CP soap, and my feelings about using it in CP are mixed . . . while it doesn't mutate or cause any trouble, the scent does fade more than Sweet Cakes fragrances do. At the end of cure time, the pleasant musk and sandalwood notes were still there, but a bit muted. If you don't mind a more subtle fragrance level in your cold-process soap, then feel free to give Egyptian Musk a spin. Flashpoint: >200º F.
Our version of this delightful daytime fragrance, first introduced in 1999.
Delicious and irresistible -- soft, citrusy green tea notes underlaid with lemon, rhubarb, and mandarin, with middle notes of peppermint, anise seed, and jasmine petals, all atop a warm, woody-amber base. A lighter, more citrusy green tea blend than Sweet Cakes' "regular" Green Tea.
Note: Although this fragrance has been designed to work well in CP soap, it has not yet been tested in this medium by Sweet Cakes.
Flashpoint: 175º F.
Fresh! Sexy! Cool! This jaw-droppingly accurate duplication of this Calvin Klein classic for men begins with top notes of birch leaf, grapefruit, juniper, bergamot, and eucalyptus (that's where the "fresh" part comes from). Woodsy-herbal midnotes of sage, cypress, balsam, and rosemary ("cool") lead to a drydown of patchouli, vetiver, and sandalwood (which provide the "sexy" component). Bottom Line: The fresh/herbal notes in this blend are sure to win over even men who normally avoid designer fragrances. Flashpoint: >200º F.
We commissioned this fragrance after numerous phone and email requests. And we can see why you demanded it -- not a sinus-blasting, cold-remedy type of eucalyptus, but a clean, fresh, herbal blend. Top notes of essential oils of eucalyptus, pine, bergamot, lemon, lime, and petitgrain lead to a floral middle of jasmine, rose, lily of the valley, ylang, and tagetes (essential oil of marigold). The soft, musky bottom also contains essential oil of patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, and vanilla. BOTTOM LINE: A very pleasing green, unisex, upscale fragrance. Flashpoint: 162º F.
Our interpretation of this brand-new best-selling fragrance is a contrast between exotic fruits and seductive florals, which creates a rich, creamy, seductive scent.
Exotically fruity top notes of pomegranate, persimmon, and champaca lead to a seductive floral middle of black orchid, lotus blossom, and violet, atop a rich, sexy base of amber, soft woods, and a creamy accord. If you like Angel, give this stunning new fragrance a try! Flashpoint: 175º F.
A welcome addition to the world of tropical scents! Rich, true coconut is adorned with a lei of jasmine and a gentle kiss of sandalwood and vanilla. BOTTOM LINE: The floral, woody, and sweet notes add to and support the coconut scent without being overwhelming or distracting. Not a plain jane coconut! Note: This fragrance has been tested successfully in cold-process soap, although it will discolor the soap to a medium tan during the curing process.
Flashpoint: >200º F.
A figgy, leafy fragrance that's like fall in a bottle. Green fig notes combine with Italian and Brazilian orange in the top, leading to a floral middle with notes of deep violet. A foresty finish is provided by bois de rose, musk, and oakmoss. Very complex and rich. Flashpoint: 186º F.
This scent captures the wonderful smell of an apple orchard in the fall -- crisp red and green apple notes combine with almond and cinnamon in the top, leading to a powerful, fresh midsection of hawthorn and carnation. Notes of vanilla and hay in the bottom of the blend complete the impression of a cool October day spent picking Granny Smiths and Winesaps. NOTE: This is not your garden-variety spiced apple -- much more complex and interesting than that . . . Flashpoint: 190º F.
Many "takes" on fig abound in the marketplace, and most of them are cloyingly sweet -- like a Fig Newton in a bottle. Not so this, which smells very similar to the fig fragrance found in Diptyque-brand soaps and candles (and those are expensive, dude!). This is a fruity-green-herbal blend, with top notes of red fruits, black currants, and peaches. Middle notes are provided by tagetes and davana essential oils, with a bottom of vanilla and caramel. Note to CP soapers: This fragrance will discolor your soap to a tan shade, due to the vanilla content. Flashpoint: 112º F.
Special Shipping Note: Due to shipping restrictions, this fragrance may ship via UPS Ground *only*. Please do not select an expedited method of shipping (Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, or 3-Day Select); your order will automatically be downgraded to UPS Ground at time of processing.
Here's an interesting, fruity blend using our Fig fragrance:
Fruit Fantasy
4 parts Sweet Cakes Sandalwood Fragrance
3 parts Sweet Cakes Yuzu or Grapefruit Fragrance
2 parts Sweet Cakes Osmanthus Fragrance
1 part Sweet Cakes Fig or Citron et Figue Fragrance
This blend takes plain grapefruit to a whole new level -- the Fig adds "WOW!" and Sandalwood gives it a sensuous note . . .
Lovers of floral fragrances will be swept away by our re-creation of "Fleurissimo," a fragrance commissioned by Prince Rainier to be worn by Grace Kelly for the first time on their wedding day.
This fragrance (whose name means "most floral") is an elegant, refined, head-turning blend of four of perfumery's most classic flowers: tuberose, Bulgarian rose, violet and iris. This fragrance is a must for your own use, and nothing would be more perfect in soaps, toiletries, and candles destined for bridal showers, Mother's Day gifts, and Sweet Sixteen celebrants.

Strap on your helmet and prepare to sample our interpretation of divine new fragrance "Flowerbomb," introduced in early 2005 and sold exclusively in one very high-end department store.
Flowerbomb is the first foray into perfumery by Dutch fashion design team Viktor & Rolf, and they brought very definite ideas to the fragrance table. They were determined that the scent be filled with flowers, flowers, and more flowers (thus the name "Flowerbomb"), and that they wanted it to be "romantic, but volatile" and connote "glamour, but with rage" (thus the bottle that looks like a crystal grenade).
Our most excellent perfumers have fashioned their own version of this top-selling scent, which begins with top notes of bergamot, tea, and peony, leading to an explosive flowery midsection of real jasmine absolute, freesia, orchid, orangeflower, and a kiss of peach, with a warm, sweet drydown of cedarwood, patchouli, amber, leather, musk, and vanilla.
Bottom Line: Dizzingly floral, delightfully upscale -- one whiff and KABOOM!!! you're bathed in an explosion of flowery nirvana.

Fracas, in French, means "a big uproar or sensation" (unlike in English, where it's more like a WWF Smackdown). Fracas (pronounced "fruh-KAH") was introduced in the 1940s and did cause, as it turned out, a "fracas" among fragrance lovers worldwide. Today, Fracas has achieved cult status; Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, and other rich, blonde fashionistas cite it as one of their all-time favorites. One snootful and I think you'll agree that this heady blend of white flowers is unparalelled in its timeless excellence. Top notes of peach, orange blossom, gardenia, and cylamen lead to yet more flowers in a middle composed of Bulgarian rose oil, jasmine, lilac, iris, and calla lily. A touch of musk and tolu balsam in the bottom keep it from flying away. BOTTOM LINE: The best-smelling fragrance you've never heard of. NOTE FOR CP SOAPERS: The greatness of this fragrance does take a bit of a hit in cold-process soap (more than our other fragrances do), and will turn CP soap a pale tan color. I myself do use it in CP soap; if you're a CP soaper and you're tempted, buy a small bottle and see if it meets your standards as well. Flashpoint: >200º F.
A rare treat -- the most breathtaking, awe-inspiring fragrance we carry (in my humble and completely biased opinion). Many Sweet Cakes customers have come to know and love our "regular" Fracas duplication -- and now we introduce a deluxe version, blended with the creme de la creme of raw materials. Top notes of neroli essential oil, real Tunisian jasmine, tuberose, and iris absolute lead to a floral heart of coriander essential oil, jasmine oil from Egypt, gardenia, pink geranium, and lily of the valley. A soft, sexy drydown is provided by balsam tolu, white iris, and musk. This is the most expensive oil we sell (believe it or not, the Tunisian jasmine component sells for $3,000 per pound, wholesale), and while the price point may make it inadvisable to dump a jugful of Fracas Deluxe into a vat of wax or soap, why not consider buying a small bottle of it as a treat for yourself or someone you love? Just a dash of it in shampoo, shower gel, or lotion will elevate those raw bases to heights previously undreamt of. It also makes the ideal personal perfume when blended with alcohol or our All-Natural Lip Balm Base (which doubles as a body butter).
Bottom Line: This clean-yet-sexy classic floral blend will not disappoint -- it's the standard by which all other floral fragrances should be judged. It's an avowed favorite of Madonna, Kim Basinger, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Carolina Herrera. Flashpoint: 195º F.
A Christmas tradition dating back to, well, the first Christmas. The Frankincense & Myrrh blend we're offering is deep and smoky. Strong middle notes of frankincense and myrrh are enhanced by top notes of tolu balsam, peru balsam, and cinnamon and clove. Bottom notes of amber, musk, heliotrope, and vanilla provide a warm, exotic, and lasting drydown. Flashpoint: 118º F.
Add a touch of Frankincense & Myrrh to florals, to completely change the feel. Here's one of our favorite simple blends:
Night-Blooming Tuberose
3 parts Sweet Cakes Tuberose Deluxe Fragrance
1 part Sweet Cakes Frankincense & Myrrh Fragrance
The Frankincense & Myrrh gives a smoky, mysterious feel to the the Tuberose -- you'll be surprised at the upscale, "What's that fragrance?!" blend you'll get .
A brilliant combination -- sweet, tropical plumeria paired with fresh, crisp freesia. Irresistible, and perfect for summer. NOTE: Personally tested in gel wax here at Sweet Cakes -- no clouding, and good throw when burning. Flashpoint: >200º F.
